Abstract

Learning is an activity to bridge between the concepts students already have and the new concepts they learn. Constructivist teachers will abandon the lecture method and switch to methods that can enable students to gain knowledge or information on their own. This can only be done properly if learning media are available that suit the needs of elementary school students. One of the media that can be used so that students can learn to think critically in social studies learning is an educational game media in the form of crossword puzzles, because crossword games will improve students' creative thinking in social science learning. With the formulation of the problem, namely whether by using educational games media crosswords critical thinking students in elementary schools can improve their learning of Social Sciences
