APPLICATION CURRICULUM CAMPUS INDEPENDENCE IN INDONESIA

Abstract

Merdeka Campus has a policy of giving students the right to take courses outside the study program for 1 semester and carry out activities outside the university for 2 semesters. Universities are given the freedom to provide Independent Campus activities that suit the needs, talents and interests of their students. Another advantage of the MBKM program for the campus is that it can be used to improve the quality of learning from the campus, so that the campus can also compete with other campuses in creating students who are knowledgeable and ready to enter the world of work. This benefit is also felt the most by female students in their learning due to holding several seminars or sharing sessions outside lecture hours. This sharing session is an opportunity where we can add new knowledge or deepen the material we have previously studied, so that we understand and master the material better. This program is also useful in expanding relations between campuses under the auspices of the government, in the sense that we can make friends from other campuses during internships and similar campus activities
