LEGAL TERMS AND THEIR TRANSLATION PROBLEMS IN MODERN ENGLISH AND UZBEK

Abstract

This monograph is related to the terminology section, which is one of the important fields of linguistics, and it is mainly focused on the study of legal terminology which discusses the emergence of new researches in the field of legal terminology, the researchers' approach to various aspects of the study of legal language that all this requires a comprehensive understanding of history. This scientific direction includes its current status, development laws and interactions with other scientific directions. In addition, it is devoted to a large-scale study of the linguistic features of legal language and the discovery of unexplored peculiarities of legal terminology, the search for legal terms in accordance with cognitive and rhetorical approaches, and the examination of modern legal neologisms. It is also related to the theoretical and historical aspects of linguistic divergences, the uniqueness of the evolution of legal discourse and terms, the identification of theoretical aspects of legal languages and its development. In addition, legal language with some specific features was analyzed and studied in this monograph. The results of the work can be used to write scientific articles, professional papers and coursework. Some of the results can be used for lectures on jurisprudence and legal debates. This monograph consists of three chapters with 96 pages. The first chapter of this monograph is devoted to the consideration of theoretical aspects of the field of terminology and its actualization. In this section, the beginning of modern terminology is considered, the history of legal language is described as a field, and an example of the practical study of legal ideology is given. The second chapter is dedicated to the methodology which analyzes the specific features of legal terminology in English and Uzbek languages through rhetorical and cognitive approaches. The third chapter reflects the analysis and classification of translation problems of modern legal terminology.
